The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) is having it’s 50th anniversary. More than 5,000 ceramic artists and enthusiasts will be here in Kansas City to celebrate. Kansas City has a long history of being a hub for the ceramic arts, and this is where NCECA started in 1969. We at ArtsKC want you to go see it all! There are a whole host of events to see, so make sure to check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for more coverage of this legendary conference. And as Kansas City’s Mo Dickens says, “Clay People is Good People.”
