Q + A

Q. What book do you always recommend to a friend looking for a good read?

A. I still love Lois Lowry’s children’s novel The Giver, or really any book similar, 1984, Atlas Shrugged, Fahrenheit 451, A Clockwork Orange, Anthem…

Q. Your favorite arts memory is…

A. Drawing 1 my sophomore year of high school. It was the first time I truly realized how important art can be to ones well-being and it became a form of meditation for me ever since.

Q. What movie do you watch at least once a year?

A. Well, this is embarrassing but…Titanic and The Lion King just never get old. I am also a big fan of Christopher Nolan’s work. Inception is one of my all-time favorite movies, along with The Following, The Prestige and Momento.

For TV’s shows, Westworld, Black Mirror and Game of Thrones!

Q. Why do you support the arts?

A. The arts build stronger communities, have the ability to transform lives and are fundamental to our humanity.
