Paige Beltowski | Diving the Museum
May 2015, Kansas City Museum
Paige Beltowski is currently a graduate student in the theater department at UMKC. She is also a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute. In 2014, she traveled to London to study Fashion Print at Central Saint Martins. Beltowski has studied in both the fine arts and fashion. Her work often reflects a balance between the two. Much of the influence in her work stems from the environment surrounding her, from the American Midwest to the city of London. To continue working with this idea, Beltowski curated Divining the Museum with Max Adrian, which was an exhibition that combined contemporary artwork inspired by and displayed alongside original furnishings and artifacts from the Kansas City Museum’s collection.
