We invite you to “savor” the arts at the 2016 ArtsKC Aperitif series presented by Morrill & Janes Bank and Trust! We are delivering a sumptuous sampling of arts-themed social gatherings that are designed to regale you. Relish in eclectic private art collections and revel in three uniquely crafted events featuring live performances by ArtsKC-supported artists, culinary creations, and luscious libations.

REVEL in white hot nights at this Moroccan themed affair inspired by Marrakesh nightlife. The night will feature hors d’oeuvres and libations hand-selected by One Light’s Sommelier Eric Willey as well as a live dance and musical performance by Ensemble Iberica. Explore One Light’s private art collection curated by Weinberger Fine Art. Guests will receive a special password for free entry to Mosaic Night Club in the Power & Light District.

RELISH in Helen and Frank Wewers’ eclectic global art collection featuring works by internationally acclaimed artists Hung Liu, Roger Shimomura, Hunt Slonem, and many more. Guests will delight in contemporary bites and sips as they soak in unobstructed views of the downtown Kansas City skyline and Kauffman Performing Arts Center. Swoon to jazzy musings by bassist Jeff Harshbarger and saxophonist Matt Otto. REGALE in a lavish Barcelona summer evening with hosts Dr. Regina Nouhan and John Eck with co-hosts Dr. Terry Anderson and Michael Henry. Take in our hosts’ diverse contemporary art collection featuring works by Linnea Spransy, Anne Lindberg, Etienne Caron, and Lissette Solosano. Sample Spanish tapas, sip drinks in their private garden, or soak in a performance by Angela Hagenbach from one of the Juliette balconies indoors.
