Town Pavilion – 6th floor, Main Street
Fri, April 29, 6pm – 10pm
Lauren Sobchak is an interdisciplinary artist focused on handwoven structures, fabricated metal sculptures, and pieced artworks. Eighty percent of the materials she uses are recycled. This aspect toSobchak’s practice allows her to engage with consumers who might not otherwise understand the significant impact of the global textile and manufacturing industries on our environment. This concept gives Sobchak’s work vibrant, historic, minimal, and intimate moments.
