ArtsKC Office

ArtsKC is hosting an event Oct. 11 at 8:30 a.m. to share research data from Americans for the Arts (AFTA) on how arts and culture power regional economic growth, jobs and cultural tourism. Randy Cohen, Vice President of Research and Policy for AFTA and leader of this multi-year research project, will present the Arts & Economic Prosperity® 5 study results for the Kansas City metropolitan area.

In addition to the research insights Randy Cohen will share, the event will allow ample time for questions and discussion related to our role as funders and supporters of the region’s arts and culture industry. Understanding the research data about how this industry bolsters our economy will help inform our decisions as we support arts and culture in our region.

We have invited other regional leaders from the funding community and hope that you can join us for this insightful event that will provide a case for why arts and culture are core to the KC Region, powering economic growth and prosperity.
