U.S.-based Lockton Companies, the world’s largest privately held, independent insurance broker, does two things quietly and grandly. It goes to great lengths taking caring of its 48,000 customers (and doing so profitably). Then it turns around and gives two percent of those profits back to community charities, such as ArtsKC.
Lockton generously contributed to the ArtsKC Fund Campaign in 2015 and supported the ArtsKC Awards Luncheon.
To all the employees at Lockton who give to the arts and specifically ArtsKC, we appreciate your generosity and what Lockton does for the community on a global scale through its philanthropic arm, Lockton Cares. We also appreciate Lockton’s founder, Jack Lockton, and his epic generosity to the arts. His legacy lives on in the gallery he made possible at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art through his $1 million donation made in 2006.
Thank you. Long live the arts.
