Artists are the roots of our local arts ecology. Without dancers; there is no ballet. Without painters and sculptors; our museums and galleries would sit empty. ArtsKC believes that nurturing creative talent can happen through providing professional development resources and financial support to artists at all stages in their career. We strive to help artists become successful ART-repreneurs, believing that each artist can act as a local business and a resource to the Kansas City region. By running a successful art business, artists give back by building a creative environment and supporting local tax revenues.
