ArtsKC’s Audience Development Practice is designed to help arts organizations expand marketing capacity through programs that supply accessible consumer data and analysis, online promotion, risk capital, professional development, networking, and collaboration – resulting in equitable and inclusive marketing and communications practices that grow and retain new, more diverse audiences year over year.

The Drop is a regional arts & culture access program designed to break down barriers to participation for individuals who do not typically participate or have been excluded from experiencing the arts.

F_ArtsKC_F_ArtsKCgo_logotype is the largest art database in our region, featuring directories for artists, organizations, and venues, upcoming event listings, and a centralized location for open calls & opportunities to help promote participating in the arts. It is free to use and publicly accessible - a one-stop site for exploring arts & culture in the greater Kansas City area.

If you are a marketing professional interested in presenting on a subject that would be beneficial to artists and/or arts organizations, please email Anne Palmer, Director of Audience Development at for more information.

Data Academy
