Hi all, I’m Godfrey! I’m the Director of Resource Development and part of ArtsKC’s leadership team. I also guide our fundraising efforts to underpin ArtsKC’s service work to the regional arts community. I led the development of Creative Leaders, ArtsKC’s new leadership development program to train and appoint new, diverse voices to arts nonprofit and civic boards.

I’m a proud cancer survivor, small business owner, KC-fanatic, and active member of the LGBTQ+ and Black entrepreneurial communities! This is my second go-around at ArtsKC. I came back because, as a Black gay man, I wanted to be part of an organization that celebrates me and others like me by working to expand equitable representation, participation, and investment in its mission and the arts.
