“Dear Mr. Glasper: A Visual Response to Black Radio” is a group exhibition curated by visual artist and curator Aisha Imani Sanaa. Inspired by Robert Glasper’s Black Radio series, ten local artists will create original works reflecting the albums’ sound, themes, and cultural impact. The project celebrates Black creative innovation, bridges jazz, hip-hop, and R&B with visual art, and fosters collaboration among Kansas City’s artists, highlighting the city’s rich musical and cultural legacy.
