Hi, I’m Anne, Director of Audience Development Practice. I work closely with arts and community organizations to build programs that engage and expand new, diverse audiences. My work is rooted in the belief that the arts should be inclusive, welcoming, and accessible to all.

Prior to joining ArtsKC, I spent 25 years serving in various aspects of higher education. With a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Arizona State University, I spent the majority of my career as a professional singer and university faculty member. Through my own experience with profound hearing loss, I learned to redirect my unique ability to connect with others into leadership coaching and developing programs that cultivate personal and professional growth. I know firsthand that with the right tools, all things are possible!
