Marketing capacity Program

As part of ArtsKC's Audience Development Practice, the Marketing Capacity Program provides small to mid-sized arts organizations with an assessment of marketing capacity, professional development training, and risk capital for a marketing project. Non-profit arts organizations are experiencing a growing need for marketing investment in professional skill, technology, and data systems in order to keep up with the ever-changing environment.

COVID TESTING SITE

COVID TESTING SITE OPEN FOR THE PUBLIC

ArtsKC supported the organization of a new COVID testing site tailored to the needs of the arts community, especially the performing arts. This new testing site is now open to the public. NOMI Health will be facilitating and operating the testing site.

Site information

Location: 3901 Main St Kansas City, MO 64111 (adjacent parking is located east of the building, enter through the east door)
 
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
 
Test types: Antigen and PCR (Turnaround times for PCR tests is 48-72 hours)
 
Cost: No charge for testing
 
Scheduling: Appointments are encouraged, but if not possible, walk-ins will be accommodated. Make an appointment here.

Where is the testing site?
The testing site is located at: 3901 Main St Kansas City, MO 64111. Please see the red arrows in the image above to see how to get to the testing site. The doors to get into the building have been marked by a blue star on the map image above.
 
 
When is it open?
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. Closed on weekends.
 
 
Who can get a test?
The test site is available for use by ANYONE, including arts organizations, audience members, arts education program families, and general public.
 
 
What kind of tests do they administer?
Antigen and PCR (Turnaround times for PCR tests is 48-72 hours) as supplies allows.
 
 
Is there a charge for testing?
There is no charge for testing.
 
 
Do I need an appointment to get a test?
You are not required to have an appointment to get a test. Appointments made online on the NOMI health website are encouraged to help accommodate all patrons. Walk-ins are always accepted and encouraged if it is convenient for you.
 
 
How do I make an appointment?
Visit the NOMI Health COVID Test Locations Website, click Missouri, and select the 3901 Main St KC site option.
 
 
Where do I park?
You can find a parking lot on the east side of the building. The parking lot is annotated in red on the map image above.
 
 
How do I get into the building?
When you arrive and park, you should see signs by the building doors identifying the COVID-19 Testing Site. Use the call box to the left of the doors to find the name “NOMI” and be buzzed into the building.
 
 
Does the site close for inclimate weather?
NOMI Health will occasionally close due to inclimate weather, please see the ArtsKC COVID Testing site page for updates on site closures.

Arts Leadership Network events bring together arts administrators throughout the Kansas City region to connect, discuss industry trends, and collaborate on topics like DEI, funding, and programming. Network members have first access to professional development, training, and other programs at ArtsKC. Members advise ArtsKC on programs to best support their needs.

The ArtsKCGo Organization Directory for arts and culture entities includes all disciplines and locations across the Kansas City metro.

Eligibility

Location: 

ArtsKCGo currently includes events held in the five-county service area of ArtsKC including Jackson, Clay, Platte in Missouri, and Johnson and Wyandotte counties in Kansas.

*Exceptions may be made for events associated with ArtsKCGo calendar partners utilizing a calendar widget on their site, in which case the event will only appear on the partner site, not on ArtsKCGo.com.

  • Primary schools or school districts (Such organizations may be included in the upcoming Arts Education portal; University arts departments are accepted)

COMING SOON! The Audience Opportunity Tool (AOT) shows arts groups how likely area households are to attend their events and provides sociodemographic characteristics of area neighborhoods. The goal of the AOT is to empower arts and cultural leaders with knowledge about the local market that can help them to understand, attract and better serve their community.
