NOW SHOWING

The Now Showing program partners local visual artists and businesses by providing opportunities for local businesses to transform their conference rooms, lobbies and office spaces into revolving galleries. Artists receive a stipend for their quarterly exhibitions, paid by ArtsKC, and 100% of proceeds from any sales.

Currently, there are over 250 local artists registered for the Now Showing program with work ranging from black and white photography to large-scale paintings on canvas. Companies are able to view artist portfolios to help select an artist to exhibit in their space.

  • Annual membership includes full year of exhibitions in your workplace
  • 1 or more artists per quarter; approximately 10-15 objects displayed per artist
  • Coordination support from ArtsKC
  • Tax deductible charitable contribution to ArtsKC
  • Access to online artist portfolios to suit your taste and décor
  • Artists’ stipends paid by ArtsKC

  • The business office/site is located in our five-county service areas: Jackson, Platte, Clay, Wyandotte, Johnson
  • The intended “exhibition site(s) are primarily public-facing, i.e. conference rooms, lobbies, board rooms.
  • The business can commit to at least one year of membership in the program
  • Exhibition areas are secure and offer reasonable protection for the art

host a workplace giving campaign

Workplace Giving is a huge part of how we build our ArsKC Fund; it accounts for about one-third of the total amount raised annually!

A workplace giving campaign is an annual fund drive that offers employees the opportunity to make a single financial contribution to a wide range of artists, arts organizations and arts programs across the metropolitan area. It doesn’t matter how big or small your company is, how simple or in-depth you would like your Campaign to be, ArtsKC staff can provide the resources and ideas to help tailor the campaign to fit your needs.
