Hey there! My name is Carter and I am the Programs Associate at ArtsKC. I work with our Audience Development team and spend a lot of time focusing on our access ticketing program, The Drop. I collaborate with arts and community service organizations to continue growing and diversifying the arts scene in the Kansas City Metro.
I always loved participating in the arts while growing up in KC. My excitement for the arts led me to study art history in undergrad at Wichita State University where I researched queer imagery in American painting. After graduating I found myself working in museums and other arts organizations in operations and education. I moved back to my hometown in 2023 after a short stint in Indianapolis and look forward to contributing to the arts scene I grew up in. Outside of work you can catch me sampling Mediterranean food, reading, or tufting rugs!
