ArtsKC’s Audience Development Practice is designed to help arts organizations expand marketing capacity through programs that supply accessible consumer data and analysis, online promotion, risk capital, professional development, networking, and collaboration – resulting in equitable and inclusive marketing and communications practices that grow and retain new, more diverse audiences year over year.
THE DROP
The Drop is a regional arts & culture access program designed to break down barriers to participation for individuals who do not typically participate or have been excluded from experiencing the arts.

ArtsKCGo.com is the largest art database in our region, featuring directories for artists, organizations, and venues, upcoming event listings, and a centralized location for open calls & opportunities to help promote participating in the arts. It is free to use and publicly accessible - a one-stop site for exploring arts & culture in the greater Kansas City area.
Marketing Capacity Program
The Marketing Capacity Program strives to increase industry knowledge of marketing strategies, tools, and trends leading to further understanding and utilization of analytics, attendance data, and research to reach and build stronger, more diverse, and consistent art audiences.

Each NetQuirk event features a presentation from a community marketing leader and Quirk Hard Seltzers generously donated by Boulevard Brewing Company.

Data Academy
In partnership with the Mid-America Regional Council, Data Academy is a program designed specifically with arts professionals in mind. Its purpose is to bring data storytelling and visualization forward as an effective means to engage audiences, from patrons to board members to the community at large.
