“We Need to Talk” delves into the story of a middle-aged Black Woman who hires an escort to get a form of intimacy she can’t get at home from her husband. However, the escort arrives and provides a service she’s not expecting.
The film seeks to show off what it takes to make relationships work, how you need to take actions besides therapy, and how your actions (or lack of) affects others in ways you wouldn’t think of.
