Kaitlyn B. Jones is an artist, independent curator, and writer whose continuing scholarship on Black-American history and culture manifests at the intersection of art and archival research. She is the founder and director of The Black Ordinary, an online multimedia publication, resource hub, and national database of community archives dedicated to preserving the collective memories of Black America. Inspiration Grant funds will be used to support the development of The Black Ordinary’s first digital editorial magazine by supplementing production costs and stipends for magazine contributors and community collaborators.
