Larry Hernandez is a Salvadoran-Mexican-American cellist and co-founder of Lienzo Piano Trio, a chamber ensemble formed by musicians of Latin American descent. The trio’s other members are Ecuadorian violinist Galo Arboleda and Scottish-Mexican-American pianist John Livingston. The group will present its debut concerts in Kansas City before performing invited concerts throughout Ecuador. Through these performances, the ensemble aims to share classical piano trio repertoire with diverse audiences while highlighting Latin American representation and excellence in classical music. Grant funds will help cover artist fees and travel costs.
