BIOGRAPHY

Desiree grew up on an eighty-acre piece of land outside of Ottawa, Kansas. In 2005 she graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Sculpture and a minor in Art History. Shortly thereafter she moved to the Hyde Park neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri, and began to pursue art making full time. Along the way she has produced bodies of work made from salvaged materials, metal, paint, vinyl, ink, paper, and ceramics.
