Artist Statement

Art has been a part of my life since I was 12 when I first picked up watercolors. However, self-comparison led me to set my passion aside for many years. It wasn’t until about seven years ago that I rediscovered my love for creating after witnessing the captivating beauty of pour painting. After extensive research, I completed my first pour, and it was love at first sight—I fell down the rabbit hole and never looked back.

My creative process mirrors the way I cook—I gather what speaks to me in the moment and let intuition guide each step. I embrace spontaneity, allowing colors and movement to blend naturally, forming pieces that feel organic and full of life. Due to osteoarthritis, I now focus solely on abstract art, using various tools to bring my visions to life. While I don’t define myself by a particular style, I let my work flow freely, reflecting the joy and energy I put into each piece.

Above all, I strive to create art that is warm, welcoming, and resonates with people in their own unique way. Every painting is an invitation—an open space where anyone can find their own meaning and connection. Whether working on personal pieces or commissions, I paint from the heart, ensuring that each creation is filled with emotion, depth, and inclusivity.
