My work explores the quiet, profound moment of awakening after a period of darkness, when perception shifts and emotion begins to surface. Through layered abstraction, vivid color, textured surfaces, and intersecting lines, I give form to experiences that are difficult to express directly.

My process is intuitive and physical. I build, disrupt, and reshape the surface, allowing bold geometry to meet spontaneous movement. Deep shadows hold flashes of color; looping lines cross and recross, creating tension between chaos and resilience, clarity and uncertainty. I’m drawn to imperfection and to the unexpected marks that make a painting feel alive.

For me, each work is a record of becoming—a reminder that what first appears as disruption can reveal persistence, and that light can emerge without erasing what came before. I invite viewers to look again and find their own meanings in the shifting layers, contrasts, and openings.
