There is a certain rhythm or motion that moves beneath the surface of everything — the shifting light on a wall, the tangle of city wires, the pattern of shade cast by trees in a yard.
The goal of the art is to translate those observations and find the movement beneath the noise. I use color as a base- measured, impulsive and intuitive. The work is never planned in advance, it builds itself through movement, connection, and intuition until it begins to breath on its own. In the end, I hope the art is a visual rhythm to the complexity of visual information that’s always intersecting, colliding, and finding beauty in unlikely ways.
